<p>Are you in search of the perfect mothers&#8217;s day gift for your students to make? Whether you prefer to go simple or all-out for Mother&#8217;s Day Gifts, this list is bound to have something for you.</p>
<p>1.Hand Print Mason Jars-  I made these last year with my students. They take a little bit of prep beforehand, but they are easy and a huge mom-pleaser! Just spray paint mason jars at home. Use craft paint to paint your students&#8217; hands and press them gently onto the jar to create the stems. Then allow them to choose the colors of paint they like best and use their fingerprints to create the flowers. I put on a clear coat of spray to seal it all in. You can put real or tissue paper flowers in them!</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-591 size-large" src="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/IMG_0408-1024x1024.jpg" alt="" width="1024" height="1024" srcset="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/IMG_0408-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/IMG_0408-150x150.jpg 150w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/IMG_0408-300x300.jpg 300w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/IMG_0408-768x768.jpg 768w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/IMG_0408-350x350.jpg 350w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/IMG_0408-400x400.jpg 400w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/IMG_0408-255x255.jpg 255w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/IMG_0408.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" />2. <a href="http://www.miss-kindergarten.com/2011/04/mothers-day-purse.html">Mother&#8217;s Day Purse from Miss Kindergarten</a>&#8211; These purses are filled with &#8220;truths&#8221; that your students write about mom. Always good for a laugh, and adorable to boot!</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-593 size-full" src="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/mothers-day-purse-1.jpg" alt="" width="320" height="240" srcset="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/mothers-day-purse-1.jpg 320w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/mothers-day-purse-1-300x225.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px" /></p>
<p>3. <a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Mothers-Day-Flower-Craftivity-1838656">Mother&#8217;s Day Flower Card Freebie</a>&#8211; This card is simple and fun! You can place a photo of each child in the center to personalize it even more, or just use the &#8220;Happy Mother&#8217;s Day&#8221; option. Students will write how mom helps them grow to add a writing element.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"> <img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-598 size-full" src="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/mothersday-flower.jpg" alt="" width="412" height="572" srcset="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/mothersday-flower.jpg 412w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/mothersday-flower-216x300.jpg 216w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 412px) 100vw, 412px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"> 4. Mother&#8217;s Day Necklaces- My teammate makes these every year with her students. They are heavy on the teacher side, but a great option for providing mom some jewelry she might actually wear! You can have students choose a design they like on scrapbook paper, or personalize them with their pictures like <a href="http://www.littlehouseoffour.com/2015/12/personalized-glass-bead-necklace.html">Little House of Four did Here.</a></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-597 size-medium" src="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/photo-300x300.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="300" srcset="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/photo-300x300.jpeg 300w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/photo-150x150.jpeg 150w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/photo-768x768.jpeg 768w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/photo-1024x1024.jpeg 1024w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/photo-350x350.jpeg 350w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/photo-400x400.jpeg 400w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/photo-255x255.jpeg 255w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/photo.jpeg 1280w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" />5. <a href="http://www.agirlandagluegun.com/2011/05/i-havent-completely-forgotten-about.html">Heart Keychains from A Girl and a Gluegun</a>&#8211; Use Sculpey to create heart-shaped keychains or necklaces!</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-596 size-full" src="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/keychain.jpg" alt="" width="340" height="229" srcset="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/keychain.jpg 340w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/keychain-300x202.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 340px) 100vw, 340px" />6. <a href="http://www.saddleupfor2ndgrade.com/2016/04/mothers-day-notepads.html">Mother&#8217;s Day Notepads from Saddle up for Second Grade</a>&#8211; What mom, grandma, or aunt doesn&#8217;t love notepads? This free printable is easy and inexpensive to turn into colorful notepads for Mother&#8217;s Day.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-607 size-full" src="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/IMG_02321.jpg" alt="" width="494" height="640" srcset="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/IMG_02321.jpg 494w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/IMG_02321-232x300.jpg 232w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 494px) 100vw, 494px" /></p>
<p>7. <a href="http://www.craftymorning.com/firefly-light-life-mothers-day-card-free-printable/">Fireflies in a Jar Card from Crafty Morning</a>&#8211; Moms love anything using fingerprints. Just looking at this card makes me happy! Card stock, paint, and a little bit of ribbon is all you need.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-603 size-full" src="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/lightning-bug-mothers-day-card.png" alt="" width="295" height="480" srcset="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/lightning-bug-mothers-day-card.png 295w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/lightning-bug-mothers-day-card-184x300.png 184w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 295px) 100vw, 295px" /></p>
<p>8. <a href="http://pintsizedtreasures.com/easy-cupcake-liner-poppy-craft/">Cupcake Liner Poppies from Pint-Sized Treasures</a>&#8211; Make adorable poppies using simple, inexpensive materials: cupcake liners, paper straws, and buttons!</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-601 size-medium" src="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/cupcake-liner-poppies-1-1024x1024-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" srcset="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/cupcake-liner-poppies-1-1024x1024-300x300.jpg 300w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/cupcake-liner-poppies-1-1024x1024-150x150.jpg 150w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/cupcake-liner-poppies-1-1024x1024-768x768.jpg 768w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/cupcake-liner-poppies-1-1024x1024-350x350.jpg 350w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/cupcake-liner-poppies-1-1024x1024-400x400.jpg 400w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/cupcake-liner-poppies-1-1024x1024-255x255.jpg 255w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/cupcake-liner-poppies-1-1024x1024.jpg 1024w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px" /></p>
<p>9. Fingerprint Pots- Aside from the planting materials, acrylic craft paint, terra cotta pots, and a sharpie are all you need for this idea. Have your students dip a finger into some paint and them guide them to create the shapes of butterflies, caterpillars, ants, ladybugs, and even friendly spiders! When the paint is dry, add details using a sharpie. And if your seeds don&#8217;t sprout in time, just add a paper cut-out glued to a craft stick!</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-595 size-full" src="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/flowerpots.jpg" alt="" width="600" height="523" srcset="https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/flowerpots.jpg 600w, https://teachingwithtiff.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/flowerpots-300x262.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>10. <a href="http://kindergartensmarts.com/2013/04/mothers-day-big-book-and-mini-book.html">Mother&#8217;s Day Big Book and Mini Books from Kindergarten Smarts</a>&#8211; I love ideas that get students writing.
