Hello! I’m Tiffany and I’ve been teaching kindergarten for 10 years! I LOVE teaching kindergarten and I never want to leave it!
I’m originally from Western Pennsylvania. I fell in love with beautiful Virginia when I interviewed for my job, and I feel like this is exactly where I am supposed to be. My little family is made up of my husband, Joe, our 5 year old son, Jackson, and our 1 year old daughter, Avery.
I have a masters in reading and a passion for children’s literature, writing workshop, and guided reading. Although reading is my first love, I landed the position of math lead teacher in a school a few years back. I have since developed a love of teaching number sense and problem solving.
I started this blog because reading the blogs of other teachers has made me a better teacher. I’ve loved the time I’ve spent peeking into other people’s classrooms, and now I want in on the fun! I think I have some good things to share, and hopefully it will be helpful to someone out there.
